Do I need to create an account?

You connect your Hyperliquid wallet at app.hyperscaled.trade. No email address, no username, no password. Your wallet is your identity.

Which countries are eligible?

Trade from anywhere with a Hyperliquid wallet. KYC is required only to receive your first payout.

How does the one-step challenge work?

Select an account size (free $1K, or paid $5K, $10K, $25K, $50K, or $100K), pay the one-time registration fee, and start trading on Hyperliquid. Hyperscaled reads your public trade data and mirrors it into a simulated scaled account. Hit a 10% profit target while keeping your daily drawdown under 5% to pass.

Is there a time limit to pass the challenge?

There is no fixed deadline to pass the challenge. However, 30 consecutive days of inactivity (no trades placed) will result in elimination. You may re-register and start a new challenge at any time.

What is the daily loss limit?

Accepted Answer

During the challenge, your account equity cannot drop more than 5% from the day's opening equity at any point during the trading day. On scaled accounts the limit widens to 8%. The trading day resets at 00:00 UTC.

What is the EOD trailing loss limit?

End-of-day account equity cannot drop more than 5% from your end-of-day high water mark during the challenge. On scaled accounts the limit widens to 8%.

Can I trade during news events?

Yes. News trading is explicitly allowed with no restrictions.

Can I trade algorithmically?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Algorithmic and automated strategies are permitted. The only prohibited strategy is martingale or martingale-like approaches (progressively increasing position size after losses) — see the full disqualification rules for details.

What happens if I breach a drawdown rule?

During the challenge, breaching either the daily or EOD trailing drawdown rule terminates the challenge immediately. On a scaled account, the same breach closes the funded account. In either case you can re-register and start a new challenge at any time by paying the registration fee again.

What happens if I stop trading?

30 consecutive days with no trades placed will result in elimination — this applies to both challenge and scaled accounts. There is no minimum trading frequency otherwise. You can re-register and start a new challenge at any time.

What changes once I'm scaled?

Accepted Answer

The profit target is removed — there's no target to hit on scaled accounts. Your drawdown limit increases to 8% (from 5% during the challenge). You receive monthly USDC payouts based on your realized profits.

When and how do I get paid?

At the end of each monthly cycle, your payout is calculated automatically and sent in USDC to your connected wallet. No manual request required. No withdrawal fees. Every payout is verifiable onchain.

What is the profit split?

100%. Hyperscaled takes 0% of your profits, including on accounts scaled above $100K.

Do I need to hit a profit target to receive payouts?

No. Once scaled, you receive USDC rewards based on any realized profits during the monthly cycle. There is no minimum profit target.

How does account scaling work?

Accepted Answer

Scaling is automatic and based on performance thresholds — no application, no additional fees. To qualify for an account size increase you need a 5% quarterly return on your current account size and an all-time Sharpe ratio greater than 1. Scaling occurs at the end of the quarter in which qualifications are met, up to a maximum of $400K.

Do I need to submit KYC documents?

No KYC is required to register or trade. KYC is required only to receive your first payout. You will be prompted to complete a brief identity verification via our KYC provider — no trading history or bank details required.

Why is KYC required for payouts?

Payout KYC is a compliance requirement for USDC distribution — specifically to ensure AML and sanctions compliance before USDC transfers to your wallet. It has no bearing on your ability to participate in the challenge or trade.

Hyperscaled is built natively on Hyperliquid and powered by decentralized challenge infrastructure. All payouts are in USDC and fully verifiable onchain.

Do I need to share my API keys?

No. Hyperscaled reads your trade data from Hyperliquid's public data stream via websockets. No API keys, no custody permissions, no access to your account controls.

Do I need to install anything?

You access your challenge dashboard at app.hyperscaled.trade. No separate software installation is required to participate.

What perpetuals can I trade?

You can trade any perpetual available on Hyperliquid. However, only 60 predefined trading pairs across crypto, commodities, indices, and stocks are tracked and counted toward your Hyperscaled trading performance.

How much leverage do I have?

Accepted Answer

Hyperscaled expresses leverage as buying power — how much of your account balance you can deploy per trading pair and across the portfolio at once. During the challenge, every account size uses Tier A (0.5x per trading pair, 2x portfolio). On a funded account, $1K–$100K use Tier B (1x per trading pair, 2x portfolio), and accounts scaled to $200K–$400K use Tier C (1.5x per trading pair, 3x portfolio). All limits are enforced automatically by the platform.

What fees do I pay to trade?

Transaction fees are 0.05% (5 bps) per trade. Bid-ask spread, slippage, and funding rates all come directly from Hyperliquid — funding fees follow real Hyperliquid settlement mechanics (when the funding rate is positive, longs pay and shorts receive; when negative, longs receive and shorts pay). No other fees apply.

There are 60 predefined trading pairs across crypto, commodities, indices, and stocks. Although you can trade any pair on Hyperliquid, only these 60 pairs are tracked and counted toward your Hyperscaled trading performance.
