What is Beanstock?

Beanstock is an Authorized Marketing Partner of Vanta — a Vanta Powered Partner. It is a Vanta-powered, partner-branded way to take the Vanta Trading Challenge, a simulated trading evaluation operated by Vanta (Taoshi VT Services). You trade on Hyperliquid with your own wallet and your performance is evaluated against a simulated scaled account. There is no funded or live trading account and no real-money payouts. Traders who pass may be invited into Vanta’s Scaled Trader Program, where performance-based rewards are paid as independent-contractor compensation.

Do I need to create an account?

You connect your Hyperliquid wallet at beanstocktrading.com. No email address, no username, no password. Your wallet is your identity.

Which countries are eligible?

Accepted Answer

Eligibility is determined by Vanta and its approved jurisdictions. The Challenge is currently offered in English to participants in approved jurisdictions and is void where prohibited. KYC is required by Vanta before any payout.

How does the one-step challenge work?

Accepted Answer

Select an account size (free $1K, or paid $5K, $10K, $25K, $50K, or $100K), pay the one-time registration fee to Vanta, and start trading on Hyperliquid. Vanta’s protocol reads your public trade data and mirrors it into a simulated scaled account. Hit a 10% profit target while staying within both the 5% daily loss limit and 5% EOD trailing loss limit to pass. The Challenge uses simulated assets only — no funded or live trading account is created.

Is there a time limit to pass the challenge?

There is no fixed deadline to pass the challenge. However, 30 consecutive days of inactivity (no trades placed) will result in elimination. You may re-register and start a new challenge at any time.

What is the daily loss limit?

Accepted Answer

Your account equity cannot drop more than 5% from the day's opening equity at any point during the trading day. The same 5% daily loss limit applies on both challenge and scaled accounts. The trading day resets at 00:00 UTC.

What is the EOD trailing loss limit?

Accepted Answer

End-of-day account equity cannot drop more than 5% from your end-of-day high water mark during the challenge. On scaled accounts the limit widens to 8%.

Can I trade during news events?

Yes. News trading is explicitly allowed with no restrictions.

Can I trade algorithmically?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Algorithmic and automated strategies are permitted. The only prohibited strategy is martingale or martingale-like approaches (progressively increasing position size after losses) — see the full disqualification rules for details.

What happens if I breach a drawdown rule?

During the challenge, breaching either the daily or EOD trailing drawdown rule terminates the challenge immediately. On a scaled account, the same breach closes the simulated scaled account. In either case you can re-register and start a new challenge at any time by paying the registration fee again.

What happens if I stop trading?

30 consecutive days with no trades placed will result in elimination — this applies to both challenge and scaled accounts. There is no minimum trading frequency otherwise. You can re-register and start a new challenge at any time.

What changes once I'm scaled?

Accepted Answer

On a simulated scaled account the profit target is removed. Your daily loss limit stays at 5%, while the EOD trailing loss limit widens to 8% (from 5% during the Challenge). Invited Scaled Trader Program participants may receive monthly USDC rewards based on simulated performance, paid by Vanta as independent-contractor compensation. Rewards are not guaranteed.

When and how are rewards paid?

Rewards apply only to traders invited into Vanta’s Scaled Trader Program after passing the Challenge. Performance-based rewards are calculated at the end of each monthly cycle and paid in USDC by Vanta to your connected wallet as independent-contractor compensation — not a share of real trading profits. Passing a Challenge does not guarantee an invitation to the Scaled Trader Program or any compensation.

How are rewards determined?

Vanta retains 0% of performance-based rewards for invited Scaled Trader Program participants. Rewards are based on simulated performance and paid as independent-contractor compensation, not a share of real trading profits. Passing a Challenge does not guarantee an invitation to the Scaled Trader Program or any compensation.

Do I need to hit a profit target to receive rewards?

No. For invited Scaled Trader Program participants, performance-based rewards are based on simulated performance during the monthly cycle; there is no minimum profit target. Rewards are independent-contractor compensation paid by Vanta and are not guaranteed.

How does account scaling work?

Accepted Answer

Scaling is automatic and based on simulated performance thresholds — no application, no additional fees — and is administered by Vanta’s autonomous onchain protocol. To qualify for an account-size increase you need a 5% quarterly return on your current simulated account size and an all-time Sharpe ratio greater than 1, up to a maximum of $400K. Scaling and any associated rewards are determined by Vanta and are not guaranteed.

Do I need to submit KYC documents?

No KYC is required to register or trade. KYC is required by Vanta only before your first payout. Vanta (not Beanstock) collects and processes this identity verification through its provider — no trading history or bank details required.

Question 18

Why is KYC required for payouts?

Accepted Answer

Payout KYC is a compliance requirement applied by Vanta for USDC distribution (AML and sanctions screening) before any transfer. Beanstock does not handle KYC or payouts — Vanta does. It has no bearing on your ability to take the Challenge or trade.

What is Beanstock Trading built on?

The Vanta Trading Challenge is operated by Vanta (Taoshi VT Services) and built natively on Hyperliquid using Vanta’s autonomous onchain protocol. All payouts are made by Vanta in USDC and are verifiable onchain.

Do I need to share my API keys?

No. Vanta’s protocol reads your trade data from Hyperliquid’s public data stream via websockets. No API keys, no custody permissions, no access to your account controls.

Do I need to install anything?

What perpetuals can I trade?

You can trade any perpetual available on Hyperliquid. However, only 58 predefined trading pairs across crypto, commodities, indices, and stocks are tracked and counted toward your Beanstock Trading trading performance.

What are the weight limits?

Accepted Answer

Beanstock Trading enforces three independent weight limits, all applied automatically: a per-pair limit (max exposure to a single trading pair), an asset-class limit (max combined exposure across all pairs in one class: crypto, commodities, indices, or stocks), and a portfolio limit (max aggregate exposure across all tracked positions). Per-pair and asset-class limits vary by asset class and Weight Tier, and individual pairs can be tuned above their class default (GOLD/USDC currently is). During the challenge, all account sizes use Weight Tier A. On a simulated scaled account, $1K–$100K use Tier B, and accounts scaled to $200K–$400K use Tier C. What fees do I pay to trade?

Transaction fees are 0.045% for market orders and 0.015% for limit orders. Slippage on market orders is simulated from Hyperliquid's live L2 orderbook; limit orders have zero slippage. Funding is settled every hour using Hyperliquid's actual settled funding rate (when the rate is positive, longs pay and shorts receive; when negative, longs receive and shorts pay). No other fees apply.

There are 58 predefined trading pairs across crypto, commodities, indices, and stocks. Although you can trade any pair on Hyperliquid, only these 58 pairs are tracked and counted toward your Beanstock Trading trading performance.
